For my current project, I am working on the site that is Billy Bunters snack bar in Mile end road. Whilst visiting the area I became fascinated by the reflections. I found it interesting how a reflection gave me a small insight into that area, as well as the way it distorted and disfigured reality. I began to map the reflections by investigating where and what they reflect in that street. After photographing these results I began to realise how they intrigued us into wanting to see the bigger picture.
This notion of reflection brought me towards this first concept model, the idea that I could manipulate reflection through my building. I used the movement of the reflections from my research to create this organic shape around Billy Bunters snack bar to work towards my final design. |

I've always been passionate about art and design from an early age. Straight after leaving high school, I carried onto study a BTEC National Diploma in 3D art and Design. I am now currently living in London where I study Interior Architecture and design at London metropolitan university, as this is what I hope to do in the future. Archives
